Buying a Ragdoll Kitten

I guarantee my cattery and all who live in it are in good health and free from Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV - cat AIDS). The Ragdoll kittens are fed premium kitten food (ProPlan) and jarred meat. They will be weaned, litter trained, vaccinated twice and altered before you take them home.

You will be given a "kitten packet" that will include instructions to help your Ragdoll kitten adjust to its new home. In some cases, changes in food, water, litter and the overall environment can cause minor ailments, even in healthy cats. This might include minor nose and eye discharges. In most cases, this disappears quickly. If you are concerned, please take the kitten to the vet.

Buyer's Checklist

1. Pick a beautiful Ragdoll kitten
2. Read the Purchase Agreement (printable .pdf)
3. Complete the Questionnaire (printable .pdf)
4. Receive a reply from Merlin's Rags
5. Arrange for payment of deposit
6. Kitten is properly prepared in 12-16 weeks from date of birth
7. Pay the balance due within seven days of delivery/pick-up
8. Arrange for delivery/pick-up

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of $150 will reserve your kitten for you. Please read the Purchase Agreement carefully and complete the Questionnaire before contacting me.

Options

You will be given, for an additional expense, the option of having your kitten microchipped. This beneficial procedure will help protect your kitten from loss and theft.

Delivery/Pick-up

I do not ship my kittens. It is preferred that you pick up your kitten directly from us.
